I love the parade; it always makes me feel like a kid again! For a couple hours I can forget my worries and simple marvel at the lights, the floats, the sounds. I’m pretty confident that I am not the only one who gets caught up in the excitement so why oh why do they only run the parade once? I realize that it would be a massive production (with over 100 floats this year alone) but think of the benefits:
1. It would be easier to find a parking stall
2. The city would bring in more money
3. Some of us would actually be able to sit front row
4. Holiday cheer would reverberate
5. Charities would have an opportunity to gather more donations
6. We could all get lost in the moment more than once (which we all need)
So please oh please, consider extending the Sundance Square Parade of Lights in 2008!

I AGREE! I live in Dallas and it would be nice to have more dates to choose from. Spread the holiday cheer throughout the month! Who can we write to?
