Lake Highlands

Send to a friend

…lush, comfortable, family-oriented living

If an ideal location and comprehensive amenities don’t encourage you to settle down in Lake Highlands, how about a nod from Forbes? In 2006, they named this area one of the top three places to buy a home, pointing out a 129% appreciation for existing properties.

Located just outside downtown but still within city limits, close to the activity and adventure of White Rock Lake, and teeming with community involvement and social groups, people know this area is made for raising—or starting—their families.

Lake Highlands is totally accessible, too, by car and by rail. The Northwest Highway, LBJ or Skillman DART station will easily deliver you to big corporations like Texas Instruments, area malls and historic charmers like The Highlands Café.

There are tons of apartments, and most of the homes here are medium-sized or larger. Check out Highland Meadows, on the eastern side of this neighborhood, for 1950s-built homes and sprawling subdivisions.

Residents here already know how great Lake Highlands is…but thanks anyway for the shout out, Forbes.
