Longmont's only 22 square miles, but it definitely packs a lot into a small amount of space. One of the top 100 places in America to live according to Money Magazine, this small city is also a recipient of the "All American City Award." It's a proud place.

Here's what's so great: excellent jobs, good schools, plenty of housing options - including Longmont apartments, very low crime and, yes, it's affordable. Plus, the land is plentiful. There are over 1,500 acres of lush parks, seven greenways and wide open spaces; plus if fishing's your thing, there are six places to drop a line. For winter action, ski resorts are a couple hours' drive.

Feel the need for some quiet and calm? The libraries and museums are the places to go. Otherwise, choose from a handful of restaurants and lots of bars to satisfy the need for food, friends and fun.
