Northern Colorado...the art of living
There's a whole lot of good living in the small cities and towns of NoCo (see: Northern Colorado). People seem to be getting away from the big, bustling urban areas hoping for a calmer, more relaxed, better quality of life, looking for good air, low crime, and easy style.
As you head north up I-25 (and make a sweet stop at Johnson's Corner for the most awesome cinnamon rolls), you'll see new development where exits with gas stations used to be. There's a lot of growth up this way.
All the towns and cities here have something distinctive to offer. Quaint Old Town in the center of Fort Collins buzzes with restaurants, cafes, boutiques and book stores, and four breweries. Greeley, nearby, is the prairie, dude (and also the meat-packing capital of the west) and Loveland is, well, lovely.
Plus, there are always the Rockies. If the thought of the great outdoors gets you all revved up, NoCo is your place. There's plenty of green, open space for hiking, biking, climbing, fishing and, in an hour or so you can be skiing. It's no wonder college students love it here.
Student or not, f you’re looking for an apartment in Fort Collins, think about the lifestyle you’re looking for. Do you want to drop into your studio to freshen up and then get out on the town? Then look for downtown Fort Collins apartments. If you need jogging and walking paths for your pup (lookin’ for a pet-friendly apartment?) check out our city map and look for the big swaths of green that represent parks. No doubt, there’s a nearby Northern Colorado apartment for rent that will keep you and the pooch happy!
Families are moving to this area hoping for a better life for themselves and their kids. Even some well-known magazines, like Money and Forbes think these are great places to be. When it comes to Northern Colorado you can believe what you read.
