Sure, you’ve heard about white picket fences, but how many neighborhoods actually have them? And how many towns are brightened at night by gas-lit streetlamps? And, exactly how many streets are lined with red brick buildings and sidewalks that evoke an old-town atmosphere?

Too many questions? Well, it's just our way of saying downtown Glendale, which is made up by Catlin Court and Old Towne Glendale, is awesome. This little vintage corner of Phoenix, nicknamed "Arizona's Antique Capital," is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Check out the 90 antique shops and trolley rides during “Gaslight Thursdays,” (every third Thursday) when store hours are extended and parking is free.
