Although the areas near downtown Phoenix have typically been known for their historic roots, neighborhoods like Central and North Central Phoenix are becoming more modern. By mixing trendy new bars and restaurants with 19th century charm, Central and North Central Phoenix have become the newest hotspots.

The Downtown Phoenix Public Market, open Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, plans to open a large indoor market. The new indoor market, in addition to the outdoor markets, will be open 6 days a week!

Green Thing is a non-profit, online community that motivates people to do one Green Thing per month in order to help prevent global warming. The mission is to get as many people in as many countries to support the Green Thing of the month and then use this 'people power' to eventually gain the support of government.
