Carlsbad

Send to a friend

…shopping, surfing and spectacular sunsets

As the center of the golf club and golf apparel industries, it should be no surprise that Carlsbad was ranked as one of the “Most Expensive Zip Codes” by Forbes Magazine. If million dollar homes don’t intimidate you, then welcome to this ultra upscale beach city.

A large mix of industries thrive here, although Carlsbad is best known for its gorgeous State Beach. It’s also home to Legoland, high-end outlet stores, flower fields of ranunculus (Buttercups) and of course, Tony Hawk.

Originally named “Rancho Agua Hedionda” (or, “Ranch of the Stinking Water”…really!), Carlsbad has transformed itself into a family-friendly city, with an emphasis on safety and natural surroundings. We’re talking the best SoCal has to offer: beautiful large beach homes and a main drag filled with beach and surf shops and restaurants.

And you can believe the air here is very, very sweet.
