Spring Valley is a refreshingly diverse community located east of downtown San Diego.

Unlike many other San Diego ’burbs, Spring Valley is a densely packed, solidly middle class town with a relatively diverse group of residents. There is some business, but no major corporate headquarters or notable cultural draws like museums, no shiny new town center.

That’s because Spring Valley is a place where people really live! Affordable housing is available in a range of forms, schools are good, there are parks and a new community center and library. SD is a quick twenty-minute drive, and with the mountains and Sweetwater Reservoir to the South, and more mountains and desert to the East, there’s no shortage of outdoor opportunities available.

If you’re looking for a neighborhood uncluttered by cookie-cutter houses and BMW SUV’s, Spring Valley should be right at the top of your list.
